    Blessings on your Furbabies

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) comes from the Japanese Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy. Reiki for pets is a form of spiritual healing that helps harmonize the mind, body and soul of your pet. It can be used as a treatment for relaxation as well as a tool for releasing negative emotions and limitations. Reiki is not a religion.

Reiki for animals can treat ailments that may be currently inhibiting your pet whether you notice it or not. It can reduce stress, relieve pain, headaches, stomach upsets, asthma, back problems, sinus, respiratory, canine hip dysplasia, anxiety and more. It can help with abused animals, neglected animals. After performing Reiki with your first session you will see results.

Reiki is ideal for animals because it is gentle and non invasive. It doesn’t cause stress, discomfort or pain yet yields powerful results. For healthy animals, Reiki maintains health, provides peace and contentment.

For dying animals, Reiki is a gentle way to provide comfort to your pet and keep them from being afraid and anxious.

Animals respond faster than people and positive results are often seen in a shorter period of time.

Because Reiki is a healing energy, it will never harm you or your pet.

  • In Person Treatments:

Animals are more comfortable in their own surroundings and home. Treatments can be given a few feet away or even from across a room.
  • Distant Healing Treatments:

Is very effective and can be even preferable. Some animals may live too far away or fearful of strangers, elderly or close to death. But they absorb Reiki distantly. Distant treatments are cost effective for the working owner and quicker to schedule. Distant Reiki offers same benefits as hands on. Distant Reiki treatment can provide relief from surgery, emotional healing, behavioral issues and ease transition to death. After a distant treatment results can be seen soon. Depending on situation, pet may need more than one treatment.

A Full Moon

I find out a few nights ago that it was a full moon out. That totally makes sense. I mean, It had to be something, at 3am, Sammy Diva wakes up and walks around the room. Part of me awakes listening to see if she has to go out. She walks to the water bowl and takes a drink. I hear her then just pace around the room a bit. She doesn’t come to my side of the bed or Daddy’s. If she needs to go out, she’ll wake us up. But nope, not a sound. I say to myself, please, go back to sleep, go back to sleep. Few minutes later, I hear her snoring again.  Almost around the exact time, Mochi decides to throw a furball. How lovely is that. I’m too groggy to

care.  However, Lucy then wakes up and starts to bite her paws as if being attacked by the Allergy monster. I flip her over put my arms around giving her reiki and we both fall back to sleep…….

This is an odd week, just balance seems to be knocked off a bit. My closest friends having surgery.. lots of reiki being sent out to family and friends. My very dear friend said to me that I was her “energy” hub and because of that she felt strength going into her surgery. That really made me smile.  I liked that. Very sweet. I think we’ll all be back in balance in no time.

  1. Finding balance would be nice. The moon sure has been bright this last week. I was noticing that too — it’s shimmering off the water into my windows. It would be nice to get more than four hours of sleep every once in a while!
